Competition “To be or not to be” (Hereinafter Competition)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS of participation
By entering this Competition organised by the British Council, you agree to the following
terms and conditions:
1) The Competition is held between May 30th and June 19th 2014.
2) Only Russian citizens and those older than 14 years can participate in the
Competition.
3) To take part in the Competition you have to post a photo in Instagram in "To be or
not to be" style, using the hashtag #2bnot2b and tagging user @rubritish
4) Photos posted after 1 pm on June 19th will be excluded from the Competition.
5) There will be 3 winners of the Competition – authors whose post will receive the most
number of “likes”. Each winner of the Competition will receive a pillow with Union
Jack flag from HelloLondon.
6) The winners’ names will be announced on the British Council Russia website and
social media communities on June 20th 2014.
7) Winners will be also notified via Instagram during 5 calendar days after the
Competition closure.
8) Winners must confirm acceptance of the prize within 5 calendar days after they
receive a notification. After confirmation the Prize will be sent to the winner of the
Competition by post. The winner can also pick up the Prize from the British Council
Moscow office (Nikoloyamskaya street, 1).
9) There will be no cash or other alternative to the prize offered and prizes are not
transferable.
10) The British Council will exclude from the Competition any candidate who does not
follow the Rules of the Competition.
11) By entering the Competition the candidate agrees that in the case of winning any
prize, his/her name will be published on the British Council website and social media
pages. No other personal data will be disclosed.
12) The British Council reserves the right to exclude from the Competition any photos
containing harassing, defamatory or insulting information (e.g infringe any rights or
freedoms of citizens, inciting racial, religious and other hatred).
13) British Council staff and the families of British Council staff may not enter the
Competition.
14) The terms and conditions may be changed if necessary by the British Council. If the
changes are substantial, the British Council will contact the competitors.
15) The Terms and Conditions of the Competition become valid on the day they are
published on the British Council’s social media communities.
