We have been learning basic art room procedures and have covered the following art concepts:
line and pattern, shape, color and tints, value (gradation shading), space, art history, art and
society, symbolism, and symmetry ; including practicing these skills: drawing, coloring,
cutting, gluing, folding, tracing, printing, writing, and employing imagination with the following
projects:
3-D cloud sculpture
Mondrian painting
Zipper Pull with pipe cleaner, beads and feathers
“Make it Orange, Make it End”….anti bully T-shirt design
Frosty fall impressionist scenes
Martin Luther King torn paper collage
Oil pastel leaves on a branch
