“AF351 Instant Takeoff” Contest
500 PERSONS SHOW UP TO WIN AN INSTANT TAKEOFF TO PARIS ON
AIR FRANCE 351
Toronto, October 24, 2013
Peter and Merja were whisked away to Toronto-Pearson airport immediately after being declared
the winners of Air France’s AF 351 Instant Takeoff Contest. They were accompanied by their
respective travel companions, who joined them on a 4-day trip to Paris from October 25 to 29.
The lucky winners were among the 5,500 people who entered the contest, and the 500 who
showed up at David Pecaut Square for the live draw in the hopes of finding themselves aboard Air
France’s daily Toronto AF 351 flight for Paris later in the evening.
“With so many people having entered the contest and such an incredible turnout today, we simply
could not resist the opportunity to draw a second prize to reward the huge crowd and have
another couple travel instantly from King Street to Champs Elysées,” commented Femke Kroese,
Commercial Director Air France KLM Canada.
The prize also included 4 nights’ accommodation at the Best Western Hotel Folkestone Opéra,
located in the 8th arrondissement, as well as shuttle transportation by coach courtesy of Les Cars
Air France from the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport to Place de l’Étoile.

takes off every evening at 6:40 pm to land in Paris at 8:00 am the next morning. A complimentary
