The National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS), managed by the Higher Education Academy, is
recognised as the premier UK award for teaching excellence in Higher Education. Since its inception
in 2000, 643 National Teaching Fellows (NTFs) drawn from academia, learning technology and
student support have been recognised for outstanding contributions to HE.
The Association of National Teaching Fellows (ANTF) represents all NTFs. The ANTF vision is to
enhance and embed the impact of National Teaching Fellows in promoting excellence in teaching and
learning. The ANTF aims to encourage and support nominations from potential NTFs and to promote
the value of the NTFS and the Association. The ANTF are proud to be sponsored by Ede and
Ravenscroft.
The ANTF present an Ede and Ravenscroft sponsored workshop to support and encourage the
next generation of aspirant NTFs through national events. This free event will offer:
-
an overview of the NTF Scheme and the nomination process
presentations by NTFs that discuss their work towards achieving an NTF award and their
subsequent activities
discussion of how an application can be developed; examples of the level of evidence
required; consideration of how to develop work towards an NTF nomination
examples of the exceptional achievements of NTFs
The event is intended for those involved in the selection and support of nominees for National
Teaching Fellowships and for prospective nominees themselves. It will provide valuable networking
opportunities for all.
This event is free and includes refreshments and lunch.
*Please note that a £40 fee will be required if booked places are cancelled.
