EVENT
Relay For Life is 24-hour fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money
for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather
and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track
at all times.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLAN
In the event of an emergency requiring the evacuation of the Conejo Creek South, the event chair or
his/her designees will immediately make repeated announcements over the public address system that
an emergency exists, and direct participants to the designated safe area in an orderly manner.
All participants will walk in the parking lot to the get to the designated safe areas which is across the
street. Any available committee members will assist with pedestrian control of participants until the
arrival of law enforcement personnel. During hours of darkness, committee members shall have
flashlights.
