Crawlers Gully Dorpers is now the oldest Dorper Stud in the Southern
Tablelands. We have always aimed for the highest quality. On three occasions
paying over $6000 for our Stud Rams, believing that the right genetics for our
Tablelands situation is critical to successfully breeding hardy, meaty animals
for our location. Crawlers Gully Dorpers philosophy is to treat all our animals
with compassion and to work with nature’s cycles.
This year for the first time in Australia we are offering stock from our imported
genetics. These genetics come from the famous ewe lines of the Visagie Stud
and the rams of the Kotze and Dell Studs of South Africa. The Rams are still
young, with still a lot of growing to do. All our stock has been classed by an
Accredited South African or Australian Judge (Wicus Cronje, Koenie Kotze and
GT Ferriera) to make sure they remain true to the Dorper Breed Standards.
These Standards are all about functionality and productivity.
All stock for sale is full blood Dorper and the ewes and rams in single lots are
suitable for registration with the Dorper Society of Australia. The groups of
ewes are also full blood Dorpers of commercial or flock quality.
