Rosettes to 5th place if classes are merged there will be a rosette for best in class for each
section.
Judging criteria will be 30% Conformation 30% Movement 30% Presentation 10% Manners

IN HAND CLASSES 9.00 am
1a. Purebred Lusitano mare or gelding 1-3 years
1b. Part bred Lusitano mare or gelding 1-3 years
2a. Purebred Lusitano mare or gelding 4 years and over

All horses entered must be 4yrs and over. They may be presented in either correct English or
traditional Portuguese dress

Free entry to horses already entered in the show each entry should be submitted with
written information on the horse entered.

May be presented in either English or traditional Portuguese or Spanish dress.
RING 1
14. Advanced Riding Horse. For the best horse & rider combination, showing movements
above elementary dressage level.
15. Novice Riding Horse for the best horse & rider combination. Horses must not have won
such a class previously. Movements may be shown up to and including elementary level.
16. Parade Horse. Open to Purebred & Part-bred Lusitano & Spanish horses plus Iberian
Horses. To be presented in traditional Portuguese or Spanish dress. Advanced freestyle
dressage movements maybe shown. Judging criteria is the best presentation of horse & rider
combination.
RING 2
17. Veteran Horse, 15 yrs & over presented ridden any breed. Either English or traditional
Portuguese or Spanish dress.
18. Novice Rider For best horse and rider combination showing movements below
elementary dressage level.

All purebred and part-bred horses should be registered with their relevant breed society either the
L.B.S.of GB or B.A.P.S.H
Entry constitutes an agreement to abide and be bound by the RULES.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entries.
The organisers reserve the right to change classes, judges & times as circumstances dictate.
Classes may be split, merged or cancelled depending on the number of entries.
The show organisers DO NOT accept liability for any accident, injury, damage or loss whatsoever
however caused to any person, animal or property at any time.
The judge’s decision is final.
Objections must be made in writing and handed to the show secretary within one hour of the incident
with a deposit of £30 which is only refundable if the objection is upheld.
Stallions & colts must be exhibited in a properly fitted bridle or cavesson.
Horse that misbehave or are under inadequate control or riders or handlers who act in an unacceptable
manner to the judge or organisers maybe asked to leave.
Horse, riders and handlers should be neatly attired in either correct English dress or the appropriate
traditional dress for the class entered.
All competitors, riders, handlers, spectators or any other persons enter these classes and premises at
their own risk.
Entries will not be accepted unless competitors sign the recommendation on the entry form regarding
hard hats.
Ridden showing classes to be ridden in a snaffle, double bridle or Pelham in English dress unless
otherwise stated.
In the event of show cancellation the exhibitors will be notified a.s.a.p. providing adequate details
have been given on the entry form.
