IBERIAN CLASSES
All horses to be registered with appropriate societies (proof may be asked for).
All exhibits to be shown in Traditional Spanish, Portuguese or English dress and tack.
Will exhibitors please ensure the following information about Horse and Rider are
entered on the entry form;

Horse Name, Age, Rider, Breed, Breeder, Owner plus any interesting information
about horse and rider.
It is strongly advised that all riders wear a recommended hat. Please see Hat Waiver

CLASSES WILL BE JUDGED IN SEPARATE GROUPS PRE. AND LUSITANO
EXCEPT PARADE CLASS.

Class 158A
IN HAND PRE or LUSITANO MALE HORSE. 3yrs and under. No
Foals. Open to Part Bred Horses.
Class 158B
IN HAND PRE or LUSITANO MALE HORSE. 4yrs and over. Open
to Part Bred Horses.
Class 159A
IN HAND PRE or LUSITANO FEMALE HORSE. 3yrs and under.
No foals. Open to Part Bred Horses.
Class 159B
IN HAND PRE or LUSITANO FEMALE HORSE. 4yrs and over.
Open to Part Bred Horses.
All In Hand Horses must be shown in serrata or In Hand bridle but both must have
throatlash.
Handlers to wear Traditional Costume or English Riding Dress.
Class 160
Novice Horse
6 YRS and under. Mare, gelding or stallion. To be judged on
correctness of basic training. Snaffle bridles only. No horse under 4YRS to enter.
(Open to part bred horses).
Class 161
Novice Horse
Any age. Mare, gelding or stallion. To be judged on correctness of basic training.
Snaffle bridles only. No horses under 4YRS to enter. Horse not to have been placed
1st or 2nd in any ridden competition prior to the day of this show. (Open to part bred
horses).
Class 162
Intermediate Horse
Any age, Mare, Gelding or Stallion. For Horses not yet working at Advanced level.
To be judged on correctness of training. Open to Part Bred Horses.
Class 163
Advanced Horse – Sponsored By Lisa Wasilewski Horse Photographer
UK Lancashire
Any age, Mare, Gelding or Stallion. May include all movements. To be judged on
correctness of training. Open to Part Bred Horses. Winning Pre will receive a Photo
Shoot, kindly donated by Lisa Wasilewski Horse Photographer UK Lancashire
CHAMPIONSHIP - Champion Pre will receive the ALTO BALISTICO Trophy.
Kindly donated by Mrs V James.
Champion Lusitano will receive the Centenary Trophy.
1st place horses both PRE and Lusitano in the above classes will be eligible for the
Championship. Not including the In Hand classes.
Friesian Costume Class will be held prior to Iberian Parade Class.
Class 164
IBERIAN PARADE CLASS PRE AND LUSITANO
Competing for the Gonzalez Trophy kindly donated by Mr & Mrs J Gonzalez.
Any age, mares, geldings and stallions open to Part Breds.
