The Company Behind LOBOS Is On The Move Enerliance Success Leads to Larger Facility Media Contact: Scot Duncan Enerliance CEO (949) 383-4850 sduncan@enerliance.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Irvine California April 5th, 2013 —Enerliance Inc. of Anaheim, Calif., is moving to a larger facility. Over the last several years Enerliance has seen great progress with LOBOS, an intelligent optimization system for large-scale, air conditioning systems that offers improved comfort, energy-efficiency and fullyautomated demand response capability that materially improves bottom lines for building owners and occupants. During 2012 alone, LOBOS was installed in more than 16 million square feet of commercial office space and is now delivering more than $3-million in annual energy savings. This coming year promises an additional 34 million square feet of LOBOS controlled buildings. The company’s rapid growth and expectation for continued expansion led to the move. The new facility, located in the Irvine Research Center, will serve as the company’s corporate headquarters, R&D center and product demonstration & training facility. The expansion is more than just a validation of hard work; it’s also an expression of the building management community’s willingness to embrace new technology and work towards a greener future. Facilities that install LOBOS not only save money; they help the environment. A commercial office building of 400,000 sq. ft. can reduce its CO2 footprint by over 400 tons annually by installing a LOBOS system. That’s a reduction equivalent to keeping 130 cars off the road for a year. Scot Duncan, P.E., Enerliance founder and CEO, explained that the facility is a key part of the company’s strategic plan. “Now that we have shifted from R&D activity to commercialization of the LOBOS product we needed a facility that would serve as a hub of client activity, anything from training seminars to product demonstrations to offering hotel office space to VIP guests.” The facility was also sized to accommodate five years of staff growth and support recruiting. “Because we are addressing multiple high growth national markets -energy solutions, building intelligence and the smart grid- and due to the enthusiastic market response to LOBOS, we expect our local staff to triple in the next five years, so the facility not only had to have growth capacity but also provide a world class environment to recruit to.” The new Enerliance headquarters are at 16480 Bake Parkway, south of the Irvine Spectrum near the 405/5 interchange in Irvine.
