the young researchers.
The 36 researchers will be split into 6 groups with 6 people each (3 from Brazil and 3 from the
UK).
The researchers will have 50 minutes to interact within their respective groups. In this part of
the session, each member should introduce herself/himself to the others in the group and
highlight research interests and recent research activity related to the workshop theme.
After introductions the group should produce flip-charts highlighting common interests and
research areas in the group and how they link with the overarching theme of the workshop.
In the next 40 minutes, the interactions will be between groups. In this part of the session,
each group will present their flip-charts to the other groups (6 minutes per group), and in the
end the facilitators will point out the research areas or topics with highest commonalities
between groups. These common research interests and projects will be registered in a
document which will also contain delegate names, affiliations and contact details.
A copy of the document will be handed to all participants.
