Rationale for Proposed Project: The following questions should be addressed in your description: How is the proposed project innovative and supportive of the goals of MCIC in reducing patient harm? How is patient harm mitigated? Description of Methods: Briefly describe the data collection procedures, proposed analytic methods, and statistical tools used. Data Metrics: What data will you collect to know you have met the project goals? Sustainability & Spread: What is the plan for continuing the risk reduction efforts at the end of the project and how will it be spread beyond the project site? Note: Research studies, quality improvement and performance improvement projects that are focused on innovations in risk reduction are eligible for funding.
