About 12 people showed up. Quick Kickball and Apple Picking recap o 3 teams at kickball, 3 full games played o Apple picking was fun, little bit of trouble being one bus short, but overall super successful. Quick Deans’ Coffee Hour recap o Talked with two deans (Sweeney and Penetta). Very general, overall casual friendly event. (Dean Barker will be at the next one). Open question: Joann Berger-Sweeney is the interim dean, who will replace her? (currently we do not know, there will be a search/restructuring). Dean Barker is good to talk to. Networking group for all graduate students and council members to improve the graduate experience. National lobbying organization for graduate students (in DC, Boston, other places). They are the only national organization that does this! We pay dues here. NAGPS (Preliminary NAGPS Plans) o Tufts is holding the Regional Conference in March(14-16). o We’ll host from 10-15 schools. o Contact any of the officers if you are interested in hosting this event.
