When all Section Championships are completed, Judging of the Supreme Light Horse Champion (Ch. `T` ),
Supreme Pony Champion (Ch. W`) and the Overall Supreme Champion of Show (Ch. `Y` ) will take place in Ring
One at approximately 5.00pm
HEALTH AND SAFETY
In the interest of your health, safety and enjoyment, the Committee reserves the right to refuse entry to the Show,
ANY person failing to comply with the respects of their Officials, Officers, Stewards / Assistants in the car / lorry park,
show / collecting rings or within the boundaries of the Showground.
The Organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at the Show.
For those measures to be effective, each person must take all reasonable action to avoid and prevent accidents
occurring.
The Committee and Officials of the British National Foal of the Year Show 2008 wish Exhibitors and
Spectators a successful and enjoyable day and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for
supporting this, our sixth Annual Show.

British National Foal of the Year 2009 Show will be held on Sunday 22nd. November 2009, at the same venue,
Solihull Riding Centre Indoor Arenas….Hope to see you next Year!

RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. All Foals must be WEANED and at least 20 WEEKS OLD on the day of the Show
2. All Entries must be ELIGIBLE for/or REGISTERED, in the GSB, AHS, AASB, BRPSB, WSB or
the Stud Book or Register appropriate to their Breed or Type
3. AMATEUR HOME PRODUCED Entries must be strictly Amateur home produced and exhibited
by an Amateur and not have been subject to professional production during 2008. An Exhibitor
who stands a Stallion/Stallions at Public Stud will not be eligible to enter the Amateur Home
Produced Classes. Exhibitors proved to be breaking these rules, will be barred from entering
future Shows
4. IN ALL CLASSES HANDLERS CANES MUST NOT EXCEED 61cm (24”) AND SCHOOLING
WHIPS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
5. NO CLIPPING OF FOALS ALLOWED AND EXHIBITORS FOUND LUNGING FOALS IN THE
VICINITY OF THE SHOWGROUND, WILL BE BARRED FROM ENTERING THE SHOWRINGS
6. Any person wishing to lodge a protest having reference to any person or exhibit, shall do so in
writing, to the Secretary, within thirty minutes of the termination of the class in question and at the
same time, shall deposit a sum of £30. If, upon investigation by the Show Committee, the protest
is not sustained, the deposit shall be forfeited to the funds of the Show
7. Each Exhibitor shall be solely responsible for any consequential loss, injury or damage to/or
occasioned by or arising from any animal or vehicle, including the spread of contagious disease
exhibited or introduced to the Showground by him / her and shall indemnify the Show and Its`
Officials, against all actions damages,costs and expenses in relation to and arising out of his/her
entry or entries in the Show and will signify acceptance of this, by signing the Official Entry Form
8. Each exhibitor shall accept and abide by the final decision of the Judges, Referees, Chief
Steward and Officials of the Show, who shall have power in their absolute and uncontrolled
discretion, to withhold any prize for the want of merit or lack of competition in any class or
otherwise, howsoever
9. The British National Foal Of The Year Show, Solihull Riding Club Centre, nor any of its` Officers
Servants or Assistants, shall be in any way responsible for any loss, injury or damage which may
happen from any cause or circumstances whatsoever, to exhibitors, their exhibits, servants
assistants or other members of the public, or to any animals, property or vehicles brought into the
the Showground or on premises used in conjunction with the Show, or while entering or leaving
the same or otherwise, or anything else in connection with, or arising out of or attributable to the
Show, or to the conditions, regulations or bye laws by the Show Committee, or by the Solihull
Riding Club in relation thereto
10. NO RECEIPT OF ENTRIES WILL BE MADE AND ENTRY FEES CANNOT BE RETURNED
11. EXHIBITORS NUMBERS will be available on SHOW DAY from the Secretary`s Office. Please

AN EXHIBITOR MAY NOT KNOWINGLY EXHIBIT AN ANIMAL, BRED, SOLD, LEASED OR
PRODUCED BY THE JUDGE, HIS/HER IMMEDIATE FAMILY OR HIS/HER EMPLOYEE
13. ENTRIES ARE ACCEPTED ON THE ASSUMPTION THAT EXHIBITORS HAVE READ THESE
RULES
14. IT IS FORBIDDEN TO ADMINISTER A STIMULANT,SEDATIVE OR ANY OTHER SUBSTANCE
TO A FOAL,OR TO CAUSE ONE TO BE ADMINISTERED IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER WITH
THE OBJECT OF INFLUENCING THE FOAL`S PERFORMANCE IN THE RING
