reserve said pup/dog and that the deposit is Non-Refundable. Deposits are received on a “first come” basis. If I
take a deposit on a puppy and you change your mind the deposit is non-refundable. Checks must clear the bank
for a deposit and/or final payment to be valid. Buyer is responsible for the amount of the check and any bank fees
associated with the check if it should return.
Initial _________ 3) All balances are due by the time the pup reaches 8 weeks of age. Balances must be paid via
Cash or U.S. Postal Money Order and must be received prior to picking up pup/dog - No Exceptions!
Initial _________ 4) We guarantee this puppy to be a purebred dachshund. We have bred; to the best of our ability,
a quality representation of the Miniature Dachshund breed. This puppy is in good health at the time of sale to the
best of my knowledge. Limited Health Guarantee covers the cost of the puppy only. There is no guarantee that any
pup/dog sold is of show quality, will retain any specific size/weight/color, or is capable of breeding or whelping a
litter at maturity. We do not sell to pet stores, puppy mills or pet brokers.
Initial _________ 5) You have 72 hours to take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian for a complete health check-up
after possession of the puppy at the buyers expense. Limited Health Guarantee does not go into effect until new
owner has the pup/dog in their possession. If buyer fails to do this, all guarantees and agreements are null and
void and NO REFUNDS will be given for the return of the puppy. If a licensed vet finds any problem deemed to be
present prior to leaving the sellers premises which in their opinion, renders the puppy unfit for sale/Unfit for pet, we
will take the puppy back and refund of the full purchase price minus the non-refundable deposit. There must be a
written confirmation from a licensed veterinarian. A refund will be considered on the condition that the puppy is
returned within 3 days of purchase and is in the same state of health as when it was sold. ***Verification will be
checked prior to refund***. You confirm that we will not be held responsible for any distress caused by the return of
the puppy. Any and all veterinarian expenses incurred determining the problem/health status of this puppy will
always be the sole responsibility of the buyer and no refunds or reimbursements will be expected from the seller.
This is a one-time replacement with no further guarantee made and is valid only for original owner and is nontransferable. Breeder will get the first opportunity to get the puppy/dog back or help rehome it should the buyer
decide they cannot keep the pup/dog. No refund will be given from the breeder to the buyer if they decide they no
longer want it.
Initial _________ 6) Puppies are usually ready to go to their new homes around 8 weeks old. Puppies can’t go to
their new homes any earlier than 8 weeks. No Exceptions!

Initial _________ 8) All pups that are sold Full CKC Registration will carry the Breeders name, prior to chosen name.
Ex: JJ’s *************. Submission of registration is at the buyer’s expense. All pups sold Pet Only will not come
with any registration application but buyer can be given a record of birth if requested. Buyer agrees the pup/dog will

be Spayed/Neutered by 6 months of age.

Initial _________ Please remember that your new puppy is a baby and should be treated like one. We feed Purina
Puppy Chow. You may change your puppy’s food. If you do, change it gradually by mixing it with what they are
currently eating. Changing their food to fast can cause an upset stomach and diarrhea. The changing of homes and
leaving his/her friends and family is upsetting to the puppy, and it needs to have time to adjust to its new home.
He/she will take frequent naps until he/she is acclimated to the new home. It is our hope that this puppy will be a
happy addition to your family and it will be loved and cared for, and in return you will have many years of enjoyment.
By accepting the above described puppy, the buyer will be bound to the provisions of this limited health guarantee.
By signing below, the buyer accepts all responsibility for the puppy’s safety and well-being from the point of leaving
the seller’s property. The seller will not be held responsible for any contagious or infectious diseases this puppy may
be exposed to after leaving the breeder’s property. All Sales are final. Buyer agrees to continue the proper
vaccinations and worming to insure the proper health of the new puppy. The breeder neither makes nor implies any
warranties or guarantees other than those written in this agreement. This document constitutes the entire
agreement between breeder and buyer with respect to this sale. The buyer’s signature below indicates that he/she
has read, agrees and does understand all the conditions of agreement on the contract of sale.
By my signature below, I affirm that I have read & agree to, all terms in the above

Health Guarantee
We guarantee the health of your new puppy to be free from non-life threatening genetic defects for a period of one
year from the date of birth. Your puppy comes to you vet checked by our Licensed Veterinarian.
All guarantees shall become null and void if the puppy is sold, gave away, or transferred to another person.
The following conditions must be met for the guarantee to remain in effect:
• The puppy must be taken to the vet in the first 72 hours (or 96 hours if the puppy is purchased on a Friday) to have
a full exam by the vet of your choice. This will be at the buyers expense and a record of proof will need to be
produced (detailed statement from the vet) that the puppy purchased from us was taken in. We suggest keeping it
with your health guarantee.
• The puppy receives veterinary care at periodic intervals to include regular checkups, worming, heart-worm, and the
continuation of the vaccination series already started.
• The puppy receives daily rations of quality food and fresh water such that it is well nourishing and resistant to
sickness.
• The puppy is housed in a suitable shelter typical for its breed and protected against extreme weather conditions.
What your puppy is guaranteed against:
• Your new puppy is guaranteed healthy and free of parvo and distemper at the time you take possession and for a
period of 72 hours from date and time of purchase. If this is not done, the health guarantee becomes invalid and
Buyer assumes all responsibility for the health of the puppy.
• Your new puppy is also guaranteed free from life-threatening genetic defects including hip dysplasia and any other
form of genetic defect affecting the health or welfare of your puppy for the period of 1 year. Umbilical Hernia’s are
not life-threatening and are often caused by the mother pulling too hard on the cord. They can be easily fixed when
your pup is spayed or neutered and are not covered under this guarantee.
• If a life-threatening hereditary disease is diagnosed during the first year of your pups life, the buyer is required to
provide reports from two unassociated, licensed veterinarians for the replacement of the puppy. The seller's
veterinarian will then review these reports before a final decision is made.
This guarantee does not include an injury as a result of an accident involving the puppy. Because of availability, the
seller has 1-year to provide a replacement puppy of comparable value but cannot guarantee the replacement will be
from the same parents. No money is refunded, only puppy replacement. Buyer can also return pup to breeder, but
this is left up to the buyers discretion. Breeder agrees to either assist Buyer in finding another suitable home where
the dog will receive proper care or to accept the dog back at any time with no refund to be given to the Buyer as
Breeder would accept responsibility for the dog and will be responsible for the future cost of care including vet care.
This guarantee applies only to the original purchaser of the puppy. The breeder is not responsible for any shipping,
veterinary or other expenses incurred.
The Buyer agrees to finish all puppy vaccines before taking their puppy out in public, letting their puppy on public
sidewalks and grasses, or letting their puppy be touched by people outside of the family. This reduces the chance of
your puppy picking up a communicable disease such as parvo.
The seller will not be responsible for problems resulting from obesity, second hand smoke, malnutrition,
dehydration, starvation or lack of proper vet care including regular vaccinations. We also do not guarantee your
puppy will be the perfect show dog, the perfect breeder, and the exact size you want him or her to be or have the
perfect temperament. We do guarantee if you love and care for your puppy, he or she will be a joy in your family.
This puppy is a companion and in no way guarantees breeding capabilities, conformation, or show qualities. This
Guarantee must be signed and received before the puppy leaves here.
By my signature below, I affirm that I have read & agree to, all terms in the above
Health Guarantee, with Dou”B”le J’s Dachshunds.
