MAIN LANGUAGE: English TARGET AUDIENCE Teachers (pre-school, primary, secondary, vocational, adult, special needs) Trainers TRAINING CONTENTS Preparation the participants will fill in pre-questionnaire about their experiences and current activities in this field + about their expectations, study course materials / documents provided prior the courses, be ready for active own participation during interactive part of the program (workshops, focus groups, etc.) Objectives to introduce art / architecture and art / as an integral part of learning process at all levels and types of schools and lifelong learning centers across various learning topics - to stress out the importance and the influence of the art and architecture to an individual private and professional profile - to encourage all participant to exchange own experience how to implement of art and architecture into learning process of various subjects - to lead the participants to connect the theory and the creativity in teaching and educational process Methodology The course will be based on the balance between theory and shared experience and on active participant´s contribution to discussed subjects and thems Following methods and tools will be used: - seminar - workshop - focus group - sites visit (galeries, architectural sites and historical monuments) - discussion with leading architects, artists and art methodologists and the members of the national heritage Follow-up Follow up will be devided into two parts: 1. during the course itself - every morning "reflection" of previous day program and activities 2. after the course satisfaction questionnaire PROGRAMME OF THE TRAINING ACTIVITIES (DAY BY DAY) Day 1 Arrival Afternoon: diversity of Prague architectural styles – Prague Castle, Lesser Town, Charles Bridge Evening: opening session with dinner, Hopes and fears – ice breake Day 2 Morning: participant presentation and sharing of experiences in using art and architecture themes in learning processes of various different subject like geography, history, social sciences etc., formal analysis of the BÅ™evnov Monastery complex and recognition of Baroque Art principles Afternoon: Kampa Museum - example of a positive and supportive role of an individual in preservation and presentation of cultural heritage Day 3 Morning: Old Town and Jewish District architecture as a result of social, religious and political coexistence of different cultures Afternoon: Veletrzní Palace - methodical workshop on contemporary art and its perception in political and social context, temporary exhibition Evening: meeting and debate with artist Day 4 Morning: Jested Tower – recognition of and integrity of technical monument and nature, role of UNESCO in preservation and presenting of cultural herigate Afternoon: Sychrov Castle – Neo-Gothic internationl architecture and its European background, focus group: State care of National Heritage in European countries Day 5 Morning: Medieval Art - message of medieval man to 21st century society Afternoon: studio of František Bílek - learning from interaction between individual spirituality and exact sciences Day 6 Morning: Prague Cubist Architecture and Art-nouvea Vltava River Side (Dancing house) - city urbanism and architectural escesses and its perception in time Afternoon: closing session in the avantgard Café Slavia Evening: farewell diner Day 7 Departure TYPE OF CERTIFICATION Certificate of Attendance TRAINER/S Tomáš Brabec, MA, Charles University, Prague, history of art SESSION 1 October 2014 SESSION 2 March 2015 PLACE Prague
