COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This level is the third of the five levels in the Spanish Program at UB. This course aims to sharpen student’s skills
for communication in Spanish by providing extensive opportunities to use the language as a vehicle for
information interchange and for learning about aspects of the Spanish Speaking world. We will continue with a
systematic review of Spanish grammar along with and increased emphasis on reading, speaking, writing and
listening skills.
MODES OF INSTRUCTION
Lectures, discussions, participations in large and small groups, presentations (individual and in group), listening
exercises, role plays, and class projects.

GRADING SCALE
The final grade will be assigned in adherence with the University of Belize’s Grade Policy. Thus, final grades will
be computed using a combination of semester grades (including home work assignments), essays, tests and
