DEADLINE I
The Graduate School recommends beginning the application process a year before the
intended semester of enrollment. Please submit the following application materials by:

ADMISSION APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Only ONE CD/DVD and ONE printed copy of application materials is necessary if you are
submitting multiple applications (i.e. Teaching Assistantship, Project Assistantship and
Layton Fellowship).

Digital Portfolio:
Twenty images (max.) of recent work, formatted and labeled as follows:
Formatting for Digital Portfolio:




The entire Digital Portfolio must be saved as a single PDF document, and burned on a CD or DVD.
Begin the Portfolio with a 250 word artist statement (12 pt. font).
The PDF Portfolio should be no larger than 20 MB total, and should be created using high quality JPEG
images between 150 and 300 DPI.
Please include an on-screen caption (10 pt. font) below each image giving the Title, Date, Size and
Materials, also note Details.
Formatting for Video:






Video, Net.art works and video documentation of installations must be represented in stills in
the PDF Portfolio described above.
Each video should be posted on Vimeo.

If you prefer to keep your Vimeo files private, please provide passwords for the files. Please only

portfolio onscreen captions and on the image list.
