Longwood University’s 2 year calendar is designed to assist in coordinating the scheduling of major
campus events. Two specific designations are noted on this calendar, Signature Weekends and Signature
Events.
Signature Weekends events require extensive resources and personnel and are marked in blue. During
a Signature Weekend only those activities related to that event, an Admissions Program, and/or a
University Advancement or Alumni Relations event will be scheduled. All other events will be required to
select an alternative date.
Signature Events are major University events and appear in red print. Scheduling of other events on
these days may be restricted due to limited resources.
