Thank you for taking the time to visit the Stormy Petrel Club’s site. I am so proud to be leading OUr Stormy Petrels. We strive to be one of the finest NCAA Division
III athletic departments in the country. The financial commitment from our alumni, friends and fans will allow the department of athletics to enhance the scholarathlete experience, which will also allow us to recruit quality individuals and compete at a higher level. This support also strengthens the push for more health and wellness activities that will engage the entire campus and community.
With yOUr assistance, OUr varsity programs can become much more competitive.
Our intramural program is thriving on campus; however there is a palpable buzz for improvement in our health and wellness programs.

The Stormy Petrel Club is the only organization dedicated to raising funds for athletics at Oglethorpe University. Members support more than 250 scholar-athletes who participate in the university’s 16 intercollegiate sports. From basketball to golf, soccer to tennis, volleyball to baseball, every Petrel athletics team benefits from the Stormy Petrel Club. The
Stormy Petrel Club is truly the “team behind the teams.”
We need the support of our loyal fans and friends to build and maintain a successful college athletics program.
