Additionally, serve as academic advisor to students; serve on college or university committees; engage in scholarly activities, and/or creative endeavours which contribute to the academic mission of the college. I am also participating in curriculum development activities; serve on graduate committees; supervise laboratories, independent study activities, and off-campus learning such as practicum’s and internships; and to render service to the professional or lay community which is relevant to the individual's academic specialty. Perform such other related tasks and duties as assigned. Industrial Work Experiences – Medion Healthcare Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai Designation: Engineer (Research and Development), Duration: july2012 - Dec2012 The major responsibility includes working the find out the problem in X-ray machine and their circuits as well repair the same, taking reading, testing and calibrating the Ventilator. Software Skills Operating Systems : Technical Software : Windows Xp, Window 7 MATLAB and basic C language Projects /Industrial Training M.tech Thesis: Classification and Clustering of brain seizure activity using Wavelet transform and Radial basis neural network (under the guidance of Dr. N.Pradhan, Department of Physcopharmacology, NIMHANS Bangalore, India) Team Size: 1(Individual). The goal of this project is Epileptic seizure detection in multichannel EEG. This is novel method for automatic epileptic seizure detection, using recurrent rates derived from discrete wavelet transform in combination with a radial basis function neural network for classification and clustering of the pattern feature of EEG signals. The output of the neural network aids in finding existence or absence of seizures in the EEG data. Mini Project: 1. New method for detection of sleep apnea (under the guidance of Prof. Chaitanya Srinivas L.V Department of Biomedical Engineering, VIT Vellore, India) Team Size: 2 (Two) The main goal of this work is to explore various possible relationships among sleep stages and apneic events and improve on the clinical accuracy of algorithms for sleep classification and apnea detection. EEG signals assessed using advanced signal processing approaches in which EEG signal is segregated into different frequency bands-delta ,alpha, theta and gamma. These parameters are used for the detection of sleep apnea with the help of artificial neural network. Therefore, to devise a more economical method, we focus mainly on the sole ability of cortical EEG for the detection of sleep apnoea. 2. A Review on Photo-oxidation Based Treatment of Tissue for Bioprosthetic Applications (under the guidance of Dr. Bhaskar Mohan Murai HOD of Biomedical Engineering, VIT Vellore, India) Team Size: 4 (four) This review studies all the methods chemical & physical in nature which have resulted in the existence of bioprostheses. It also contains information regarding various chemical and physical methods which are used for cross-linking. B.Tech Project: Monitoring human vital parameters using fuzzy logic (under the guidance of Mr.G.Harikrishnan, Department of Bio medical Engg, Sathyabama University, Chennai) Team Size: 2 (Two) The aim of the project is to show how the combined techniques of genetic algorithms and fuzzy logic can be useful in these situations. The leading idea is the development of a tool to assist the designer in the preliminary phase of activity by assigning a genetic code to every possible solution and assessing its performance by means of a fuzzy controller in order to handle simultaneously different design criteria. Industrial Training B.tech (Industrial trainings and Seminars):1. Visited Care Hospital Hyderabad, Sri Rama Chandra Medical College, Chennai and Sri Chitra Research Institute, Trivandrum. 2. Underwent training on biomedical instrumentation at Apollo Hospital, Ranchi for 15 days. 3. Underwent training on biomedical instrumentation in Apollo Specialty Hospital, Chennai for 15 days. 4. Participated in National Level Seminar on Nanotechnology and Nano-biotechnology held in 2008 at Sathyabama University. Seminars M.tech (Seminars):1. Electronic Guidance Device 2. A Biomedical Smart Sensor for the Visually Impaired Publication Published project paper on “Classification and Clustering of brain seizure activity using Wavelet transform and Radial basis neural network” in IJSER International Publication in December 2012. Achievements Organized seminar on “Current scenario in Medical imaging modalities” by Er. S. Anil Kumar ,Technical Service Engineer” at Shimadzu Analytical India Pvt. Ltd (SAIP ) in year 2013 at SITM Lucknow. Coordinated Symposium which was organized by Biomedical Department during under graduation. Coordinated national level fest during under graduation.
