OBdAA Board Meeting March 10, 2014
Meeting called to order at 8:20pm
Ian, Paul, Ashley, Ilse and Dennis present, Steve and John absent
Ian motioned to approve the agenda and minutes from last meeting, second by Paul, carried
Financials, Ilse has a cheque from CLRC for $1600, Deb has sent the 2013 to Mary Ellen for review
Old business - 2013 Show incentive payout, Ilse has signed them and will hand them out the AGM and Deb
will mail the rest

Website, Ilse has discovered that the host provider has had server issue and is the reason for not being able
to log on and do updates, also noted for the reason for the minutes not being post to the web site, Paul has
been talk to Kathyln Windsor about her hosting the web page, $240 per year and $70 per hour for updates,
agreed to leave till the new board has been elected

Raffle heifer, can’t get a lottery license from Kawartha Lakes, Ilse is going to try March 11 at Cambellford
and have a draw date for October 3 or 4, also no raffle heifer donation as of today

2014 Agenda and reports, Paul had a request for them prior to the AGM, it was agreed that Ilse will send a
bulk email out with the previous minutes and not the 201 agenda as it not approved by the membership

2013 AGM minutes, Dennis thought the minutes never got done and the notes from the meeting had been
lost, Ilse noted that she had the complete minutes

Canadian AGM and Cream of the crop sale, Ian has 15 rooms booked and the meeting room, a $100
deposit is required(Ian and Deb to discuss this), it was discussed that the Canadian board should be setting
up the agenda, etc, Cream of the Crop Sale was set for September 20, 2014 at 7:00pm at Mr. Buckleys, we
need to rent a portable toilet for the sale, Mr Buckley has requested a fee of $1000 for the sale, he will
provide hay and straw, cattle an arrive earlier and stay after the sale for a short time but there will be a fee
of $4.00 per day per head charged from Mr Buckley, Dave Denure and staff will do the sale and look after
the cheques for a 4% sales commission

2013/2014 bull test award, Ian has 2 on test and Paul Ferguson has 2 or 3, to be discussed by new board
for pay outs
New Business- Ilse was contacted from Eric Dorran, he will be bring semen to the AGM for his auction
donation
