1. Liberal Arts Strategic Enrollment Management Plan
 Our plan focuses on Outreach (High School Capture Rate, Full-time Enrollment)
and In-reach (Academic Success as Measured by Persistence and Retention)
 Create a Liberal Arts Community Advisory Board (first meeting, April 2015)
 Liberal Arts Dean, Chairs, and Coordinators meet as a team with our High School
counterparts at their campuses
 Expand DE, emphasizing quality standards and outcomes (Brett Myhren/training
for chairs/individual faculty)
2. 2013-2014 College Degree Awards Data (see attachment)
3. Curriculum and Enrollment Management
 Identify, by department, courses not offered every semester
 When any Liberal Arts course not offered every semester is scheduled, include
comment in College Schedule that indicates semester or academic year when
next available
 Identify division courses that do not fulfill AA, AAT, and IGETC requirements
 Connect with Counseling to promote awareness of and enrollment in courses
that meet degree, certificate, and transfer goals
 Schedule Liberal Arts courses in San Clemente, if appropriate classroom space
can be identified
 Consider offering first and second eight week online sections
 Discuss CIO Block Schedule Model (see attachment)
 Liberal Arts Enrollment Comparison Report, Summer 2015 (see attachment)

 Revisions to Current Spring 2015 Schedule Completed
 Chairs will receive Summer 2015 TARs no later than November 21
 Fall 2015 TARs will be distributed to faculty in early December

 Fall 2014: Status Report on Annual Tenure Review Process for Full-time Faculty in
Tenure Track Positions and First Semester Evaluations for Newly Hired Associate
Faculty
 Spring 2015: Complete Once-Every-Three-Year Evaluations for Full-time Tenured
Faculty and Associate Faculty as well as Newly Hired Spring 2015 Associate
