Microbiology, molecular biology. Inhibitors of bacterial DNA gyrase and mechanism of
resistance to these inhibitors. Microcin B17. Thiazol-oxazol modified microcins: structure,
biosynthesis, mechanism of action.
Work experience
2009-2010 – graduation project conducted at the State Research Institute of Genetics and
Selection of Industrial Microorganisms («Genetika»), Moscow (under the direction of I.V.
Manukhov). Topic: «Studing of expression of gene ardB located on the conjugative
plasmid R64».
2010-2013– a PhD student at the Institute of Gene Biology RAS (Moscow), laboratory of
K.V. Severinov. Topics: 1) Studing of pentapeptide repeat protein QnrB. 2) Microcin-Blike compounds produced by Pseudomonas syringae: structure and species- specificity of
antibacterial action.
2013-present time –postdoc in the StPtSPU Bionano Institute headed by Dr. Mikhail
Khodorkovskiy.
March 2011 – assisted at the practical courses for the Rosnano corporation (Reverse
transcriptase-PCR analysis).
