Depressants -- drugs that depress the body systems of:
Slurred speech
Disorientation
Drunken behavior without alcohol
Shallow respiration
Cold, clammy skin
Dilated pupils
Weak, rapid pulse

Tolerance – needing more of a drug to get the same effect
Synergistic Effects – the combined total of two drugs equals more than their addition but
possibly quadruple
