With regard to budget items; last year 75 Varsity Jerseys were ordered. Coach would like to bring that
number up to 100 this year mostly due to jersey needs at play-off time when some JV players move up.
This past season we had move-ups using injured varsity players’ jerseys. Freshmen are now using old
varsity jerseys which are still usable. Goal is eventually outfit entire program. Cost for 25 sets (which
includes Home Jersey & Home Pants, and Away Jersey & Away Pants) $5,340.00. Cost for 25 sets
with Home & Away Jerseys and only 1 set of pants is $4,252.52. Billing would not occur until August
2015. Lisa G motioned to approve purchase of 25 jerseys with 2 sets of jerseys and 2 sets of pants.
Nancy G 2nd. No one opposed.
Program is in need of more shoulder pads-about a dozen sets. Shoulder pad discussion tabled until
March meeting.
Coach is planning to purchase a video camera to be used for scouting purposes.
Need videographer for all levels. Kari Arnold stepped up to video freshman.
All Varsity & JV games from last season are available for purchase. Athletes/parents can contact team
moms if interested. Freshman videos are almost complete and will be available in the near future.
Seniors Jared Gohl and Jake Economou have signed to play football for Hillsdale and Slippery Rock
State College respectively.
Coaching Staff Updates: Mark Roffi and Pete Scott have been added to Varsity. Coach Silverston has
moved to Freshmen and Coach Mince will be helping with Varsity, not JV due to conflicts with his
daughter’s swimming schedule.
September 11 is a Friday this year and a home game. It will be called Patriot Night. Players will wear
Digital Camo Red & White jerseys. Jason Reck is finalizing details but all players will wear the jerseys
but will have an opportunity to sponsor a jersey for $150.00, with $50.00 going to a not yet determined
charity. Sponsored jerseys will possibly go to a veteran’s family. HHS will hold its yearly fireworks
display this night as well. Opposing team, Howell, will also be invited to partake in the Patriot Night
jersey charity event. More specific details will be forthcoming.
Summer football dates were sent out a short while ago—PDF document is attached at the end of these
minutes.
