Meeting was called to order at 6:10 pm
Minutes of the September meeting were approved.

New Business:
Education Update:
Richard Markley and Randall Sexton
 Meet Judith Tavano from the University of Arkansas Global Campus to
discuss partnering with them on Certification Preparation Classes.
o Richard and Kip to review technology, Richard to work with Judith on
agreement.
 Update class schedule – on hold until he talks to Judith
 Discuss partnering with SynergyTech for Principles Classes next year.
o Richard and Joan to meet with SynergyTech and plan first class.

 Finalize Strategic Plan Completed and plan distributed
o Everyone to review 3 year plan and provide feedback if changes are
needed.

 Next event is November 4th at Rockline – Kata presentation and tour. We
will have ~15 students from NWACC attending free of charge. We will have
catering from Rib Crib.
 Next event is going to be held at the U of A on the subject of Supply Chain
Risk Management with Dr. Edward Pohl. I have made 10 spots available
free of charge for graduate students to attend. We will have catering from
Noodles.
 Kip to provide Joan information for January tour announcement in two
weeks.
Student Affairs Update: Mandy Hougland
Local list of contacts developed for schools and universities.
Started the process of developing a student paper contest.
Will let NWACC know that we are looking into the U of A option first on
certifications.
