Day 1: TALLINN
Arrival to Tallinn international airport. Pick-up your chosen car at the airport. Check-in and accommodation at
the hotel.
Overnight: TALLINN
Day 2: TALLINN
Involve yourself into the medieval spirit, which is reflected by Tallinn’s Old Town. By walking along the
cobbled old town streets, take a look at the most important sights: the Toompea hill with is castle, Alexander
Nevsky Cathedral, the Dome Church and the building of Estonian Parliament. Take marvelous panoramic
pictures while passing magnificent viewing platforms. The lower part of the old city encounters the medieval
Town Hall, St. Olav’s and Nicholas Churches. There are places of interest in the greater downtown area, such
as the Kadriorg Park, Pirita Sailing Center and the Convent of St. Brigitte.

Day 3: TALLINN – RAKVERE – TARTU (225 km)
Departure for Tartu via Rakvere - town in northern Estonia, 20 km south of the Gulf of Finland. Rakvere is
known now for its Tarvas statue of an aurochs, it is thought to be the largest animal statue in the Baltic countries.
Further drive to Tartu – Estonia‘s intellectual and architectural centre – hosts the country‘s main liberal arts
University. Arrival in Tartu and check in at the hotel.

Day 4 : TARTU – VALMIERA –CESIS - SIGULDA (205 km)
A morning drive to Sigulda via Valmiera and Cesis. Valmiera - a member of the Hanseatic League. From 1385
until 1500 Valmiera was host to at least 32 Hansa Days and Sessions of the Livonia Land tag bringing great
animation and activity to the quiet town. Continue up towards Cesis - one of the most picturesque medieval
towns in Latvia. Towards drive to Sigulda and the Gauja National Park – the biggest park in Latvia proclaimed
as a natural and cultural reserve in 1972. The surroundings of Sigulda are often called the Switzerland of Latvia
due to beautiful nature with hills, valleys, rock exposures and old castle ruins. In Sigulda, visit the Turaida
museum complex with the Turaida castle, the Gutmanis cave and have find by riding on the cableway over the
Gauja River valley.
Evening arrival to Sigulda.
Overnight: SIGULDA
Day 5: SIGULDA – RUNDALE -– VILNIUS (350 km)
Leave Sigulda and head for Lithuania’s capital Vilnius. Short stop in Rundale. Visit to Rundale Palace of the
18th century, a beautiful late baroque palace in Latvia. It is a splendid example of the early work of famous
Italian architect F.B.Rastrelli. Arrival to Vilnius in the afternoon.

Day 6: VILNIUS- TRAKAI- VILNIUS ( 50 km)
A day to explore Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania for more than 600 years. St. Peter and Paul’s Church ,
Gediminas castle, St. Anne’s gothic Church and Bernardine monastery, the Gates of Dawn with a holy image
of Virgin Mary, the Town Hall, Vilnius University (founded in 1579) with its Ensemble of St. John’s Churchmain attractions you should see in Vilnius. Walk along ancient narrow streets of the historical part of the city.
In the afternoon drive to Trakai (25 km)- former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Visit the castle
museum and try the Karaite’s national dish kibinai at one of the lakeside taverns.

Day 7: VILNIUS– KAUNAS- KLAIPEDA (300km)
Departure to Klaipeda. Stopover in Kaunas walk around the old town and visit Kaunas castle from 13th
century, lovely Town Hall of Kaunas, known locally as “White Swan”, the 14th century Church of Vytautas,
Cathedral-Basilica, Perkūnas House. Be sure to stroll along the Laisves aleja pedestrian avenue (the Avenue of
Liberty) – the main shopping and dining street of Kaunas. Following museums are located in Kaunas – the
Lithuanian Museum of War, the Art Museum of M.K. Ciurlionis, the Museum of Devils as well as two still
operating retro-style funiculars (1930-1932) invite for a ride and admire the panorama of Kaunas from
Aleksotas or Zaliakalnis hills. Continue Klaipeda. After reaching Klaipeda enjoy a tour in the old town of
Klaipėda where will see Drama Theatre Square with a famous sculpture of “Annchen von Tharau”, continue
through the net of 18th century streets of the Old Town, where traditional medieval urban layout is still clearly
distinguishable.

Day 8 : KLAIPEDA – CURONIAN SPIT( Nida) – KLAIPEDA (120 km)
A full day self-driven excursion to the Neringa National Park at the Curonian Spit, which can be easily reached
by ferry from Klaipeda. Drive along this sandy peninsula covered with scattered pine forests and high grass.
Curonian Spit, separating the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon, is a unique nature reserve and is oftenly
called the Lithuanian Sahara desert due to impressive sandy dunes. Discover the beautiful wild nature with
sand dunes, pine forests and golden beaches, visiting the Hill of Witches which houses a hundred of fanciful
and folksy wooden sculptures scattered along a forest path in Juodkrantė village and Nida resort, the
Fisherman’s House, famous German writer Thomas Mann’s House and the Amber Gallery. Take a chance to
climb up to Parnidzio dune near Nida to admire the panoramic view over Nida and the endless surrounding
dunes.
Overnight: KLAIPEDA
Day 9 : KLAIPĖDA – PALANGA – HIL OF CROSSES – RIGA (340km)
Short drive from Klaipeda to Palanga- the biggest seaside resort in Lithuania. Kilometres of finest white sandy
beaches stretch along the fresh Baltic Sea. Visit the Botanical Garden and Amber Museum in the Palace of
Count Tyszkiewicz, with over 25 000 pieces of amber and 15 000 inclusions of insects on display. The town
of Kretinga nearby is famous for its tropical wintergarden and museum. Continue to Riga. On the way visiting
of Hill of Crosses.
Overnight: RIGA
Day 10: RIGA
Full day to explore Riga –a port and important transport hub dating from Middle Age. A stroll in the Hanseatic
old town including Riga castle, St. Peters church, Dome Cathedral and the House of Blackheads. Old Guild
houses and merchant palaces are hidden on narrow cobblestone streets. The greater central part of Riga is nested
in beautiful gardens and parks enriched with Art Nouveau architectural masterpieces and elegant shops. The
museum of Riga’s history and navigation is one of the oldest museums in this part of Europe, Riga as a maritime
metropolis while taking a cruise along the Daugava River down to the Riga’s passenger, freight and commercial
ports.
Overnight: RIGA
Day 11 : RIGA – PARNU – TALLINN (300 km)
Continue up towards Tallinn along the wild beaches of the Baltic coast. En route stop in Pärnu, Estonia
“Summer Capital”. This little town has been known as a summer health resort since the first spa opened here
in the 1830s. Further drive to Tallinn.
