Mexico is a country of huge potential which has demonstrated predictable, stable economic growth. It is a dynamic
market and ranks second in Latin America terms of its market growth potential, and third in terms of its business
environment.
British Business Mexico runs four Business Centres in Mexico – Mexico City, Tabasco, Monterrey and Guadalajara in
partnership with UKTI and BritCham Mexico. The offices are available for UK SMEs to rent while they establish
themselves in Mexico alongside a series of incubation and support services provided by the British Business Centre
including Mentor Matching and Translation /Interpreting.
Chile is widely recognised as the best managed economy in South America and has enjoyed regular periods of steady
growth. It has long been open to foreign investment, including from the UK which is the 4th largest investor in Chile. It
is also an associate member of Mercosur. This network provides access to almost 1.2 billion consumers world-wide.
The UK Foreign Office says Chile offers the most attractive business environment as well as offering a large market. It
ranks top in competitiveness, innovation and corruption perceptions, meaning easier access for UK firms.
