CCEM Guidelines Annex 2 DECLARATION OF A CCEM OR RMO COMPARISON 1. Comparison identification number: (This number will be assigned by the BIPM database Manager) 2. Type of comparison (key, supplementary): Supplementary 3. Relevant CCEM Working Group (WGLF or GT-RF): WGLF 4. This comparison will be carried out under the auspices of (CCEM, BIPM or RMO): RMO If RMO, specify name: EURAMET 5. Pilot Laboratory: PTB 6. Comparison support group member names and email addresses: Alexander Katkov, A.S.Katkov@vniim.ru Stéphane Solve, ssolve@bipm.org 7. Participating institutes, comprising the pilot institute (states and economies): If bilateral, PTB (Germany), GUM (Poland), HMI/FER-PEL (Croatia), MIKES (Finland), SMU indicate here: (Slovakia), UME (Turkey), VMT/FTMC (Lithuania), BIPM (International) No 8. Measurand(s) and nominal value(s): Josephson voltage standards at 10 V 9. Description: A comparison of Josephson array voltage standards at the 10-V level will be carried out. It is planned as RMO KC supplementing BIPM.EM-K10.b. A portable Josephson array voltage standard of VNIIM will be used as travelling standard. It provides a stable and isolated output voltage like a Zener reference but it is a quantum standard with low noise. Therefore, the portable Josephson array voltage standard allows comparisons with an uncertainty of less than 10 nV.The comparison will be organized in a loop. The portable Josephson array voltage standard will be accompanied and operated by a specialist of VNIIM. Approximately two days should be sufficient for each participant to measure the output voltage of 10 V. 10. Additional remarks: 11. Proposed measurement start date and timescale: 2014-07-01 – 2015-07-01 12.
