2015 ISH Studbook Eventing Series Eligibility Criteria:

All horses registered in the Irish Horse Register with the breed codes ISH, RID or ID, with
sire and dam documented on their passport.

Any stallion which has commenced the HSI Stallion Inspection procedure and has been
awarded ‘Preliminary Approved’ classification is also eligible to compete.

Weatherbys Thoroughbred mares and stallions which have met the IHR inspection criteria
are also eligible to compete
ISH Studbook Eventing Series: 4 YO League (EI 90)
 4 classes (including final) at venues to be confirmed
 Prize money will be as per Eventing Ireland rules, with an additional bonus prize money
given by HSI as per Prize Breakdown
ISH Studbook Eventing Series: 5 YO League (EI 100)
 5 classes (including final) at venues to be confirmed
 Prize money will be as per Eventing Ireland rules, with an additional bonus prize money
given by HSI as per Prize Breakdown
ISH Studbook Eventing Series: 6 YO League (CNC1*)
 5 classes (including final) at venues to be confirmed
 Prize money will be as per Eventing Ireland rules, with an additional bonus prize money
given by HSI as per Prize Breakdown
 No horse competing in the 6 year old (1* Novice) ISH Studbook Eventing Series will be
required to upgrade regardless of the number of EI points obtained in the series. However,
should the same horse be entered in any other class at an EI event, the points gained in the
series will apply and will determine what class it may compete in.
ISH Studbook Eventing Series: Owners League
 The top three owners from the overall winners of the 4yo, 5yo and 6yo Leagues will recieve
prize money.
ISH Studbook Eventing Series: Breeders League
 The top three breeders from the overall winners of the 4yo, 5yo and 6yo Leagues will
recieve prize money.
ISH Studbook Eventing Series: Mare Prizes
 The top mare in the 4yo, 5yo and 6yo League will receive €500 each

Matron Scheme
 Any 5yo eligible mare with a foal registered on the IHR will be allowed to compete in the
4yo classes
 Any 6yo eligible mare with a foal registered on the IHR will be allowed to compete in the
5yo classes
 Please note the onus is on the owner to apply for the Matron Scheme prior to their entry
being submitted
