West Clermont proposes that the IEP team accept the IEP that was written and agreed upon.

West Clermont proposes to take this action after the IEP team met and agreed that the IEP provides a free appropriate
public education for the student.

The IEP team, after addressing the profile, goals, specially designed instruction and services have agreed upon the IEP and
no other options need to be considered.

In order to ensure that a free appropriate public education was provided, the team discussed progress on the former IEP
goals and objectives as well as progress in the general education curriculum and determined that the new IEP addresses
the current needs of the student.

A description of other factors that are relevant to the school district’s proposal or refusal:
All members of the IEP team agree that the IEP is appropriate.

Provision of procedural safeguards:
As a parent of a child with a suspected or identified disability, you have procedural safeguard protection under the
Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) of 2004. Upon initial referral for an evaluation or parent
request for an evaluation, you will be given a copy of your procedural safeguards. You will also be given a copy of your
procedural safeguards upon request, upon receipt of the first state complaint under 34 C.F.R. §300.151-300.153 and upon
receipt of the first due process request under 34 C.F.R. §300.507 in a school year and in accordance with the discipline
procedures in 34 C.F.R. §300.530 (h).
