Students will select one of the following three: 1. Famous person 2. Sport 3. Event/holiday B. Students will prepare a power point on the selected topic. Following are the basic guidelines. 1. First slide: Introductory slide : - name of topic - student’s name 2. Middle slides (3-4 slides) should contain the following: Person Sport -3 facts -3 rules or purpose of game - why famous -1 famous person that does this game - vitals - where from - info of choice - origin / history of sport -where game is popular or played -information of choice Event/holiday -3 characteristics of event - famous people associated with this holiday. - origin / history of holiday - where celebrated - information of choice 3. Summary slide – - should include the most important fact or the most interesting thing about your topic. - why you chose to do a presentation on this topic. C.
