2012 Commercial Recycling Survey
This survey is being conducted by the Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District (District) to identify the
type and amount of recyclables received from within Hamilton County during calendar year 2012. The District will
use the information in this survey for summary purposes only; no company’s survey response will be reported
individually. Your response to this survey will help measure Hamilton County’s progress toward the state-mandated
recycling goals.

1 Spent cooking fat or vegetable oil from commercial sources is a liquid waste and should not be included.
2 Do not include metals from auto bodies, train boxcars, or construction and demolition debris (C&DD) in the ferrous and/or non-ferrous categories.
C&DD includes metals used in the construction of residential buildings such as plumbing, siding, framing, etc.
3 Includes computers, computer related equipment, televisions, cell phones, etc., from residential sources only.
4 Report all wood waste except wood originating from yard waste or C&DD. Wood originating from yard waste should be reported on the next line
(i.e., “Yard Trimmings”).
