Fran was a guest on a ship which, from above the wreck site, commemorated the centenary of the sinking of The Titanic. During the voyage, authors delivered interesting and informative lecturers. Presbytery and Synod of WA The Moderator and Synod of Western Australia express sadness at the passing of Rev Olive Stafford last Wednesday 30 September at Wearne House in Mandurah. Olive was a nurse who served in hospitals in Fremantle, Osborne Park, Wooroloo, Perth Dental Hospital and Papua New Guinea prior to training as a deaconess in the Methodist Church. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this sad time. Her funeral will be held this Friday 9 October at 2.00pm at Mandurah Uniting Church, 156 Pinjarra Road.
