Meeting Minutes
September 16th, 2010
I. Call to order
Maura Cornell called to order the general body meeting of the Pre-Veterinary Club at
7:30 pm on September 16th, 2010 in Frick Auditorium.
II. Roll call
1) The following persons were present: President- Maura Cornell, Vice President- Nate
O’Brate, Secretary-Nolan McClain, Fundraising Chairs- Elizabeth/Maddie Community
Service- Lindsay Beardall, Communications-Alyssa Goehri, Zoo Laision- Emma Faulkner,
Treasurer- Todd Luttgeharm, Social- Becky Wical, Special Events- Julia Milligan, Ag RepMaliha Mithani, A&S Rep- Annie Weber, Historian- Taylor Boles

 Make sure you come to events you sign up for. If you can’t make it, let the people in
charge know. If you are going to miss meetings, you may do an extra fundraising or
community service event.

 Active Member List
(1) Nolan will take care of the active member list for the rest of the semester.
6) Treasurer [Todd Luttgeharm]
 Pay dues-$10 per semester. Due by the next meeting 9/30

 Sign up if you want a “Tough enough to wear pink” t-shirt

 The next meetings speaker will be from the Sunset Zoo
11) Social Events [Becky Wical]

If your not going to be able to be at an event, email me and let me know. Working
with the fundraising chairs to plan social events. I have become a Mary Kay
consultant and I will donate 10% back to the club
12) Historian [Taylor Boles]
 Want to do a club picture after we get our new shirts and post it on the website
13) Zoo Liaison [Emma Faulkner]
 Planning a fantastic zoo trip to the Sunset Zoo. We are going behind the scenes of
the vet hospital. Planning on it being around 2:00. Suzi the chimpanzee gave birth at
the age of 57! There is a contest to name the newborn, the most money wins. Also
they have a new sloth. Yeah!
14) Fundraising Chairs [Maddy Anders and Elizabeth Clark]
 Need people to work concessions for the 25th. Lots of fun events coming up
15) Community Service Chairs [Lindsay Beardall]
 Sending a signup sheet to sign up to work at Hope Ranch. If you’re interested in
going to another training session, email me and I will give you the person’s email.
We are volunteering at the Blood Drive on Friday, October 8th.
