Please complete the following checklist and ensure you attach all requested documentation. The application should be
collated in the order detailed below. DO NOT STAPLE OR PLACE YOUR APPLICATION IN A FOLDER OR
BINDING – USE A BULLDOG CLIP in order to facilitate photocopying for selection committee.

A: Brief Statement (max. five pages for Sections A-G), which clearly sets out the proposed research
project:
 the stage reached so far
 the sections of the research and writing that have been completed
 the work that remains to be done
B: Timetable showing how the Fellowship period will be used to bring the project close to completion
C: List of recent relevant publications.
D. Evidence of commitments to publication or other outcomes, such as publishing contracts etc.
E: Details of any teaching relief allocated to the applicant in the 2 years prior to semester requested for
Faculty Fellowship application
F: Details of any other Faculty or Centre funding allocated to the applicant in the 2 years prior to the
Semester requested for Faculty Fellowship application, including current year applications under
consideration.
G: Budget Statement detailing the cost of providing a semester’s teaching for the candidate at casual rates,
endorsed in writing by Head of School/Director, supporting the uses proposed. (HOS support for budget can
be combined with letter below).
Letter by the Head of School in support of the applicant’s project and endorsing proposed budget statement
as above. If more than one person is nominated, Heads/Directors are asked to rank the nominees via separate
correspondence with the Centre Director.
