There are always pluses and minuses with using a bigger versus a smaller billing
company. Regardless of which you choose, make sure the company is familiar with your state
rules and idiosyncrasies. Many companies are capable of billing -- the devil is in keeping up with

assistance. Although you may have more questions, this is a good place to start.
When you make a decision, it is always a good ideal to keep in touch with how the billing company
is doing on a regular basis. When our group used a billing company, I visited their office to
randomly audit our patient accounts. With advances in technology, many billing companies now
allow off-site access to live accounts.
