Terms and Conditions for the School of Arts and Humanities Alumni Loyalty Scheme 1. You are eligible to receive the alumni loyalty discount if you have graduated with an academic award from Nottingham Trent University at any time after 1 July 2010 and you progress onto an MA, MRes or MA (by research) course within the School of Arts and Humanities. We reserve the right to ask for a copy of your certificate(s) to validate your eligibility. Please note that courses which are validated by, but not taught by, Nottingham Trent University are not eligible for this discount. 2. Students who have applied for a place on a course that is delivered on a modular basis must meet the above criteria and must have graduated with an academic award from Nottingham Trent University before enrolling on the first module of their course to be eligible for the alumni loyalty discount. 3. You can apply for the alumni loyalty discount if you have been offered a place on an MA, MRes or MA (by research) course in the School of Arts and Humanities starting in October 2015. 4. Students who are fully sponsored by their employers or a professional body are not eligible to receive the alumni loyalty discount. Students who are partly sponsored and who meet the criteria for an alumni loyalty discount will have the discount applied to that part of the fees which are not being paid for elsewhere. 5. The current student alumni fee reduction scheme is available to eligible UK, EU and International students. 6. Students who are progressing directly from Nottingham Trent International College, without having previously obtained a Nottingham Trent University award, are not eligible to receive this fee reduction. Please check our website for details of funding for NTIC students at www.ntu.ac.uk/ntic. 7. If you graduated from your Nottingham Trent University course after 1 July 2010 and before July 2015 you will need to submit an application by email to receive the discount. 8. Applications must be submitted to the School of Arts and Humanities by 4 pm GMT on 31 July 2015 for courses that start October 2015 and must be sent to aahpostgrad@ntu.ac.uk. The email application must include all of the following: your full name the course you have applied for the year that you graduated the title of your degree you graduated from your NTU student ID number (if available) You will be informed of whether you have (or have not) been awarded an alumni loyalty discount before the start of the course. 9. The discount will be available in the form of a tuition fee reduction. 10. A tuition fee reduction of a maximum of 25% is available. 11. The 25% tuition fee reduction will only be applied once you accept and meet the conditions of your offer and are eligible to enrol on the course. 12. If you are eligible to receive the 25% fee reduction and you are also successful in receiving another scholarship or bursary from NTU, the 25% reduction will be applied to your tuition fee after the scholarship amount has been deducted. 13. If you are awarded any other scholarship, bursary and / or fee reduction from the University, the maximum amount awarded will not exceed more than half the tuition fee. 14. The tuition fee reduction is not transferable and will not be awarded if you choose to defer your entry to a different start date in a different academic year or if you choose to transfer to a different course at the University which is excluded from the Alumni loyalty scheme. 15. The University’s decision in all matters relating to the School of Arts and Humanities Alumni Loyalty Scheme is final.
