My favorite street is Edgehill Street between First and Second Avenue. It’s an unusual
street. It’s long and crooked. There are two shoe stores, a coffee shop, and a fruit and vegetable
market on the north side of the street. On the south side there’s an Italian bakery, a bookstore,
and a Chinese restaurant. There’s a traffic light on one corner and a stop sign on the other. There
are two apartment buildings. Only one thing is missing from the street – a music store. Then it
would have all the things I like. I know the street very well because my grandparents live there.
Every time I go to that street these days, it brings back childhood memories.
