 The Varsity Baseball Team picked up their seventh win in a row Friday night
beating a very well coached Williams Team 8-6. Clay Moore was the winning
pitcher going 5 innings with Elijah Julian coming in to relieve him. Timely
hitting by the Cougars in the 7th inning got them the lead and they were able to
hold off a 7th inning rally by the home team Bulldogs. Coach Barber commented,
“This was our seventh win in a row. Clay Moore gave us another good start
tonight. Clay picked up his fourth win of the season and he has really improved
with each and every start he gets. Hopefully we can finish the last two weeks of
the season strong and make the playoffs.”
