Departure from the parking area next to “Papastratos”
Administration Building in Volos ( Iasonos Str.). Travelling
by bus to Larissa.
09.00
Arrival at the campus of TEI of Thessaly in Larissa and
meeting with its incoming students
Coffee Break (provided by TEI).
10:30
Arrival in the Department of Physical Education and Sport
Science in Trikala. Meeting with Erasmus students from
Trikala and Larissa.
Welcome greetings from the Department Representatives
and the Erasmus Coordinators.
Short presentation of the University of Thessaly.
11:30
Departure for the Monastic Community of the Holy
Meteora.
Arrival. Guided tour at the Holy Monastery of Great
Meteoro.
15:00
Return to Trikala for lunch (provided by the IRO). The lunch
will be offered in the Student Restaurant of the
Department of Physical Education and Sports Science.
Possible Tour and coffee in the city of Trikala
17:00
Departure for Larisa and Volos.
 Important! Please mention that in Meteora, for entering the Monasteries, girls
shouldn’t wear any trousers and boys shouldn’t wear any shorts. Please bring
something suitable to wear just for the occasion (you could use a big scarf as a
skirt).
