KNIGHT SENSATIONS BOOSTER MEETING
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2015
President Amy Marchino called the meeting to order at 7:48 pm. Kathy LaMee and Tracey
Durgy made the motions to accept the August meeting minutes.
DIRECTOR'S REPORT:
Mr. Adcock reported that Fall Musical auditions will be taking place soon. Students are able to
be in the Show Choir and the musical. He told parents that he received feedback from Camp
Reveal and the representative from Dance, Twist & Swim about how well behaved, polite and
respectful our students are. The Fall Concert is scheduled for TUESDAY, October 13th at 7:00
pm in the Castle Auditorium. Mr. Castle Contest is also this week. It is scheduled for
Wednesday, October 14th at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. Mr. Castle contestants will be
photographed for a calendar that will be sold as a fundraiser. Some profits from the Mr. Castle
Contest benefit the show choirs. Some props for the calendar shoot will be needed. Please
watch for emails asking for these prop donations.
OLD BUSINESS:
*Mums - Delivery is this Saturday, September 19th in the softball parking lot. Pick-up time is
8:30-10 am. Parent volunteers need to be at the softball parking lot no later than 7 am to
unload the semi. KS sold 870 mums. The total sales for the choirs is $4045.50.
*Tupperware - The sale ran from September 1 thru 16. All orders and money are due in class
on Wednesday, September 16th.
*Window decals and yard signs were handed out at tonight's meeting.
*Dance, Twist & Swim have been in during class times and all sizing has been completed. We
are still waiting for a delivery date.
*Sponsorship Forms are still available. The Protected Sponsor List is NO LONGER in effect.
*Avon - this fundraiser will be held in November. Patti Lahay is our vendor for this sale. Dates
will be determined and reported at the October meeting.
*Tumbler sale will start in October. Erin Williamson will be our chair for this sale. She will
report the sale dates when she has made them.
*Giveback Nights - Two have been scheduled. Sunday, September 27th at Kanpai and Tuesday,
November 17th at Wayback Burgers.
*The spirit wear fundraiser needs two chairpersons. Staci & Erick Shoup have volunteered for
this position. Dates of the sale will be determined and reported when the Shoup's have
everything set up.
*Butter Braids - Delivery date is Thursday, November 12th. Erin Williamson will accept the
delivery to Castle. Teresa Burnett is our chairperson.
*Rob week meals have been planned and ordered. We are still in need of donations of plates,
napkins, silverware and cups. Please see Amy if you are willing to donate any of these items.
*Please sign-up for Remind at 81010.
*KS girls need to locate their Christmas blouses from when they were in Knightingales. They
will be wearing these blouses for their KS Christmas performances. If your daughter no longer
has their KG Christmas blouse or your daughter was never a member of KG Amy will order new
blouses for your daughter. The cost of the blouse will be an out-of-pocket expense.
*Students MUST HAVE khakis for our Fall Concert on October 13th. Please have your student
look for their khakis and if your student needs new ones please make those purchases.
Chris Schulte made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Lee Ann Crowder made the second.
The meeting was adjourned.
Our next meeting is on Monday, October 12th at 7:00 pm in the Castle Choir Room.
