PC440 offers 315 tons of crimping force
Handles industrial hose capacity from ¼ inch up to 4 inches
Complete range of dies and accessories available
Fairlawn, Ohio, August 20, 2015 -- ContiTech, a leading worldwide manufacturer and distributor of industrial products for a variety of applications, has introduced the PC440 Production Crimper with a patented ACT
Crimp Controller for the North American market.
The PC440 Production Crimper can store up to 50 dies and 150 crimp settings and its special pressure transducer monitors crimping effort eliminating trial-anderror crimping. “It can also track the number of crimps and automatically pauses for quality checks at preset intervals,” said Randy Kish, manager of distributor marketing, industrial hose and hydraul ics for ContiTech. “It will automatically convert inches to millimeters and vice-versa so that no calculation is ever required.”
A fixed “6 o’clock” die position holds the assembly in place achieving accuracy during the crimping process.
The PC440 Production Crimper is equipped with a 7.5 HP (one-stage) pump, an industrial crimp calculator and manual or automatic ACT controls, and a complete range of dies and accessories is available.
For additional information on these applications, contact Randy Kish at 330-664-7091 or randy.kish@contitech.us.
