Program Start Date: May 2014 IV. Program Design A. Program Duration and Site. The Program shall last for 13 months offered in Philippines. B. Credit Units. 14 courses with 52 quarter units C. Curriculum. The Curriculum is modeled after SMC’s current EMBA Program with an additional travel course at the end of the program. Program Format. V. One course a month i. Twelve 4 day (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) face-to-face courses taught in Manila by SMC faculty or DLSUD Faculty ii. One on-line meeting before face to face session or vodcast lecture containing introductory information when SMC faculty is teaching International Management: Doing Business in the U.S. (U.S. Module) The six-day immersion course is composed of lectures by SMC faculty, Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay Area company visits, and cultural visits. Students A. Number of Students. Target 25 students, with minimum 15 students to launch this program. Future class size shall be determined by the two institutions on an annual basis. B. Applicant Eligibility. Bachelor’s degree in regionally accredited schools. C. Application Materials. Each applicant shall submit (1) a complete on-line application form for the Program, (2) official transcripts, (3) two recommendation letters, (4) a statement of purpose, (5) resume, and (6) official test result of TOEFL or similar English language proficiency test for applicants who studied in a non-English language at the undergraduate level. D. Admission Criteria. The minimum criteria include: (1) minimum 5-year work experience, preferably in management or supervisory position, (2) leadership potential, (3) a high level of maturity and interpersonal skills, (4) GMAT is not required, and (5) for applicants who studied in a non-English language at the undergraduate level, minimum TOEFL score requirements are: 550 Paper-based, 213 Computer-based, 79 Internet-based. The TOEFL school code for Saint Mary's College is 4675. Alternatively, an applicant can take the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or the Pearson Test for English. The minimum IELTS score requirement is 6.0.
