Doncaster 1914 -18 marks the centenary of the First World War. The project encourages Doncaster people to
research and share their own stories. Volunteering with Doncaster 1914-18 is a way to use your skills, discover
new ones, share your passion for the past and have fun! Volunteers are vital to support the project.

For health and safety reasons, participants must be aged 8 years old or over. All under 16’s must be accompanied
by an adult.

We’re offering a variety of volunteering opportunities through this archaeology project. Please indicate

Where did you hear about this volunteering opportunity?
Volunteer places are on a first come, first served basis.
As the number of volunteer places is limited, volunteers may be restricted to a maximum of three days,
depending on availability. Please tick all of the days you are available to volunteer, bearing in mind that
if you tick more than three days, you may be selected to volunteer on any of your chosen days (where
possible, we will try to keep volunteer days consecutive unless requested otherwise). If you are
volunteering with friends/family, it would be helpful if you could send applications in together, and note
the names of the people you wish to volunteer with below.
Please note that a volunteer day will run from 10am to 4pm, with two half hour breaks.
