On the 8-9th and 23-24th April, 2013 two batches of Community Midwives
(total number 48 ) of MCH program of Health Department received two
days clinical training on Newborn resuscitation (Helping babies breathe) at
BDRCS
Training room.
Five
master
trainers
(Pediatrician
and
Obstetrician) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Muzib Medical University and
Dhaka Medical College conducted the training. The training was
inaugurated by the Secretary General of BDRCS on the 8th of April.
On the 24th April, Honorable Chairman of the Society, Prof. M.S.Akbar
presided over the concluding session of the training. Prof. Akbar in his
speech explained the importance of this training and expressed his
gratitude to Save the Children, IFRC and Bangabandhu Sheikh Muzib
Medical University for organizing the training. This training is expected to
increase the clinical skill of our Midwives in Newborn Resuscitation.
