Lecturer, Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology, Murray State University. Full-time, non-tenure track position to begin August 2011. Qualifications: Masters Degree in Construction Management or a related field is required. Three years of full-time recent and relevant U.S. construction industry experience required. Responsibilities: Teach construction engineering technology courses in TAC/ABET accredited construction engineering technology program. Responsibilities include teaching classes in construction planning and management, building cost estimating and heavy construction cost estimating, soil mechanics, construction scheduling and other courses related to construction management. In addition, this individual will be expected to develop and maintain related laboratory equipment and supplies. Active liaison with professional organizations and industry partners, initiative with student recruitment and placement, and participation in TAC/ABET accreditation process expected.
