Immigration, Health and Well-Being May 19, University of Oxford Location: Oxford, United Kingdom Date: May 19, 2016 Deadline: January 10, 2016 We are soliciting papers for the Workshop on Immigration, Health and WellBeing. The workshop is part of the “Immigration and NHS” project funded by the John Fell Fund. We invite submissions in any area of empirical health economics, economics of immigration and well-being. Preference will be given to papers focusing on the UK. The workshop’s focus is broad, covering empirical economic research on these topics. The workshop will last one day, with a small number of hour-long research presentations. The workshop also aims to foster new connections among scholars with common interests in these areas. Keynote lectures will be given by Christian Dustmann (University College of London) and Marty Gaynor (Carnegie Mellon University). A final debate with Brian Bell (University of Oxford) and Martin Ruhs (University of Oxford), moderated by Martha Gill (The Economist) will conclude the workshop. There are no fees. Participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation expenses.
