Time Domain Astrophysics with Swift conference to be held in Clemson, SC, 10/19-21, 2015:

In this 2015 meeting, all sessions are dedicated to Time Domain Astrophysics as probed by
high-energy space missions and ground-based observatories, accompanied with overarching
discussions of future direction and emphasis for Swift science. The goal of the meeting is to
discuss key science topics from Swift's successful past decade, and to focus attention on
opportunities for further improvements in its observing program and ToO strategies. A
comprehensive analysis of the road ahead is important considering that Swift is in its extended
life operating phase and that the upcoming NASA Senior Review presents stiff competition.
Abstracts: Please register and submit your abstract at your earliest convenience. The default
contribution is a poster, but the SOC will select and recommend a subset of the abstracts for
oral presentations. The deadline for abstract submission is September 15, 2015. Submissions
after this date will be considered, and accommodated if possible (at least with a poster slot).
The instructions for abstract preparation and submission are posted on the conference URL.
Registration: The symposium registration fee is $300 until September 15 (reduced by 50%
for students), and will then increase by $100 ($50 for students). Registration includes coffee
breaks and lunch on Monday and Tuesday. The banquet ticket has to be purchased separately.
Hotel reservations: See conference page for instructions, and NOTE that a block of rooms at
the reduced prize of $115($135 for a suite)+tax is available, but can't be guaranteed past Aug
31 - so please book now. Other hotels are available, but none within easy walking distance.
