The impact that British music had on popular culture and music in the States caused the scene here to explode with new sounds and ideas. This exhibit explains that impact on America and sheds new light on how it happened, and why." It will include several sections: ‘Roots and influences of The GRAMMY Awards’, ‘The 1964 music invasion: The Mersey sound’, ‘The sound of London and taking America by storm’.
